Weenie in the Window is a dream-powered, woman-owned business that specializes in custom dog harnesses for Dachshunds and other small dogs. Co-founder, Alison, dreamt up the idea for Weenie in the Window during the summer of 2004. The frustration of having no safe, affordable or fashionable dog walking devices for her Dachshund, Julius, led Alison to design her own. Her mother, Dana, has 25+ years of sewing expertise and helped the process along. After many different prototypes, they created the perfect design. This harness was sleek, safe and oh-so-sweet. Our dog harnesses are unique not only in their construction, but also in their design, cut, quality and fabric options. Though many have tried, no one can make a harness like ours.
